Class of 2009 Community Service Project
Ribbon Cutting & BBQ Fundraiser

Please support the Leadership class of 2009 by attending their final topic day at Isla Vista Youth Projects (IVYP), which features a ribbon cutting ceremony and fundraiser BBQ to support the outdoor education initiatives of the IVYP. Speakers will include the Goleta Chamber of Commerce and the Orfalea Foundation. Immediately following the ribbon cutting will be a BBQ fundraiser at Girsh Park. Alumni, friends and prospective class members are welcome!

Where: Isla Vista Youth Projects, 6842 Phelps Road, Goleta, CA (mapquest)

When: Friday, May 15th
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: 11:00 am; BBQ Fundraiser at Girsh Park: 12:30 pm

ISLA VISTA YOUTH PROJECTS OUTDOOR CLASSROOM PROJECT

This year’s class kicks off a new LSBC program by choosing to support a local non-profit organizations’ enhancement of expansion project. The class chose to help fund and build an outdoor classroom and playground for the Isla Vista Youth Projects and we need your help.
